Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2011 Collection

Put another dime in the jukebox, baby.

Perhaps it was inspired by the recent Runaways biopic or maybe he's just been listening to old mix tapes, but Jean Paul Gaultier's collection, which he called, "The G Spot," is all about the rock and roll girl. Whether it was the Joan Jett hair on all the models or the fact that Beth Ditto wore the opening and closing looks, JPG wants to make you rock out with your... tits out, we guess.

It's a fun collection. It reminds us of classic '80s JPG and Madonna, with he underwear and lingerie-inspired looks, as well as the layering. Love the denim pieces, the structure shoulders and the shoes. Some of the florals and the sheers feel like they're a little off-message, though. And many of you will be happy to see that Beth Ditto wasn't just some stunt casting; there are models of many sizes walking these looks down the runway. Props to Jean-Paul for that.
